Tartrazine is the chemical name of the food additive E102. Its name in IUPAC e: Trisodium It is a synthetic yellow color dye, which is well soluble in water. Used for coloring various beverages, paint eggs, pastries, jams, marmalades, cornflakes, snacks, canned fish, soups and more. Can impart as yellow and brilliant blue food. In combination with E142 green tint is achieved.
This synthetic product can cause various allergic reactions, especially in people with asthma or intolerance to aspirin.
