So is so yesterday bought a fish died during the night ... he and 3 more that I already had it ... I went to this store because it still under warranty and it tested the water ... levels of NH3 and NH4 to zero ... what the store told me it's impossible, is not natural, forced me to bring a sample of water from the top and the bottom for another say that the levels vary with depth ... everything to zero again, and embirraram me that this was not possible ... that there must always be some amount of it in the water ... And told me to the gallows by the filter to the fullest, even if that push the fish against good glass ... someone here with experience can cometar this episode?
The output of the filters should be as high as possible taking into account the caraterístas fauna. Strong currents in Aquarius are you recommend for a species and totally "disastrous" for other species.
The problem I have is in Aquarius or the other problem is if the fish have been recently acquired acclimatization may have been poorly made. Or esters parameters of waters wholly inadequate to the species.
For you see fit, reading a little about the nitrogen cycle in aquariums, as careful packaging and the fish is trying to minimize applus the shock of temp and pH changes in aquaria.
But this is not the aqua that you presented and that only made 2 day cycle? Is that the case is esso these values of 0 are VERY strange. But I'm still newbie in the hobby ... let's see what other members say "more tread."
To try to understand what happened and prevent future losses, it is best to describe how it all happened, from assembly aqua, call filter and air pumps, used products, until the introduction of fish.
Best regards!
